We welcome all visitors to our Orthodox chapel, located in Berea, KY! St. Nina Orthodox Mission — founded in 2021 — is itself a daughter of a now-large parish, St. Athanasius Orthodox Church in Nicholasville, that began as a small mission back in 2002. Both our mother parish and our daughter mission are blessed to have many visitors. We invite you to “come and see.”

Our full calendar for all events in our mission over the next several months is here. All evening services are now scheduled to begin at 630pm to keep things simple:

  • Our services at St. Nina during the month of October include the following:
    • Saturday, Oct. 4 : 630pm Great Vespers w/ Confessions (Fr. Justin)
    • Tuesday, Oct. 7: 630pm Vespers & Catechesis Class (Fr. David)
    • Saturday, Oct. 11: 630pm Great Vespers w/ Confessions (Fr. David)
    • Sunday, Oct. 12: 930am Divine Liturgy & Parish-Wide Cookout (Fr. David)
      • Fall Cookout to be at Christians’ House after church (1870 Peggy Flats Rd. Paint Lick, Ky 40461)
    • Tuesday, Oct. 14: 630pm Vespers & Catechesis Class (Fr. David)
    • Saturday, Oct. 18: 630pm Lay Vespers (No Confessions)
    • Sunday, Oct. 19: 230pm Orthodox Community Hike @ Berea Pinnacles (Fr. Justin)
    • Tuesday, Oct. 21: 630pm Vespers & Catechesis Class (Fr. David)
    • Saturday, Oct. 25: 4pm Memorial LItya & Great Vespers w/ Archbishop Alexander
      • Post-Vespers Reception w/ Archbishop Alexander & St. Nina Community
      • St. Nina Community to Join Archpastoral Visit to St. Athanasius at 9am Sunday
    • Tuesday, Oct. 28: 630pm Vespers & Catechesis Class (Fr. David)
