We welcome all visitors to our Orthodox chapel, located in Berea, KY! St. Nina Orthodox Mission — founded in 2021 — is itself a daughter of a now-large parish, St. Athanasius Orthodox Church in Nicholasville, that began as a small mission back in 2002. Both our mother parish and our daughter mission are blessed to have many visitors. We invite you to “come and see.”

Our full calendar for all events in our mission over the next several months is here. All evening services now begin at 630pm. Here is our calendar for February, service by service:

  • Saturday, January 31: 630pm Great Vespers & Confessions (Fr. Justin)
  • Sun., February 1: 930am Public Teaching Liturgy led by Fr. Justin (arrive at 9am for parts you do not normally get to see)
    • A festive potluck follows the Liturgy.
  • Tues., February 3: 630pm Akathist to Ss. Simeon & Anna; Catechesis Video on Fr. Roman Braga
  • Sat., February 7: 630pm Great Vespers & Confessions (Fr. Giorgi)
  • Sun., February 8: 930am Visitors Sunday Liturgy w/ Potluck (Fr.Giorgi)
  • Tues., February 10: 630pm Vespers & Catechesis (Priest TBA)
  • Sat. February 14: 630pm Lay Vespers (no priest)
  • Tues., February 17: 630pm Vespers & Catechesis (Fr. David)
  • Sat., February 21: 630pm Great Vespers & Confessions (Fr. Justin)
  • Sun., February 22: 930am Liturgy & Forgiveness Vespers (Fr. Justin)
    • Cheesefare Sunday Potluck to follow services.
  • Tues., February 24: 630pm Great Compline w/ Canon of St. Andrew & Confessions (Fr. David)
  • Sat., February 28: 630pm Great Vespers & Confessions (Fr. Justin)
